Joe Fischer is a landscape and night photographer living in Northern California. He teaches workshops and skills for mastering mirrorless and DSLR cameras and has some of his work on year-round display at the California Energy Commission in Sacramento. His workshops are designed around using the camera’s Manual settings so people learn how to take photos in all lighting conditions, including night photography for dramatic photos of the Milk Way Galaxy. Joe teaches people of all ability levels through the Viewpoint Gallery in Sacramento.

Joe is also an underwater photographer who captures the beauty of marine life in exquisite color. He frequents places like Fiji, Indonesia, and the Caribbean and updates his print gallery often. Joe is also a certified PADI Divemaster and Underwater Photography Instructor and teaches snorkelers and divers of all ability levels how to take spectacular underwater photos.
